Good afternoon everyone.
I accepted the position of DC Brighouse on Thursday 2nd September 2021 and it is an understatement to say that I am excited to be taking on the role.
I know I will be working with an amazing group of people and I believe we have a fabulous district that we all should be proud of.
This honestly was my motivation for wanting to take on the DCs position.
We have exciting times ahead as we get back to Scouting after the Summer break and on that point, I would like to wish St Anne’s good luck with the launch of the new squirrel’s group which is happening on Thursday.
I would like to thank all of the fantastic people who have supported me with my ADC Cubs role and the leaders and team at Rastrick St Mathews for allowing me to be part of their team.
A special thank you to David Burge for his input and continued support whilst I was ADC Cubs and I am sure you will join me in wishing him all the best for the future.
