Bradley Lodge

The district’s own Scout Activity Centre located at Bradley Wood Scout Campsite.

Bradley Lodge at Bradley Wood is owned by Brighouse District.

The building is managed on behalf of the District by Bradley Wood and the income from its use goes to support scouting in the District. To ensure we maximise our income we must give priority to full weekend bookings.

Groups in the district can have free use of the building for midweek evenings (Mon-Thurs) but must book through the office at Bradley Wood email

The building must be left clean and tidy after use by groups or we will incur clean-up costs. These will be passed on to the Group at the discretion of the District Trustee Board.

Brighouse groups can claim back 36% of any rental fee for Bradley Lodge back from the District Treasurer six months after the booking.

Sleeps 26 in total with 6 in bunk beds and the rest on mattresses located on the floor in the main hall, the centrally heated building, includes a well-equipped kitchen and 3 Gender Neutral Toilets, with additional handwashing facilities.

Bradley Lodge has its own campfire circle and a camping area just outside, the 3 camping pods are right next to it as well, ideal if you want to mix it up a little and use the building as your base and let your young people use the pods or camp and use the lodge as a cooking and eating base etc.
